As International Children's Day is approaching, an activity of caring for left-behind children, whose parents have migrated to other areas for work, kicks off in Jintun Village, Guixi City, East China's Jiangxi Province, on May 27.
The activity, consisting of art show, gift presentation, themed lesson and sports exercise, was held by the Jiangxi Communist Youth League and a construction engineering company.
The event is part of a project organized by the Communist Youth League to care for left-behind children in rural areas around the country.
Through family and school visits, themed activities and voluntary services, the project aims to accompany and care for rural left-behind children, encourage them to have high aspirations and help them grow up healthily.
